About Julien Alfred
Julien Alfred crafted one of the great stories of the 2024 Olympics. Alfred became the first athlete to win an Olympic medal from Saint Lucia, winning gold in the 100 meters and silver in the 200 m.
Before her triumph in Paris, Alfred won gold in the 60 meters at that year's World Championships. She was also the women in NCAA history to break the seven-second mark in the 60 m and was a three-time NCAA champion at the University of Texas. Alfred was named Big 12 Athlete of the Year in 2023.
