About Juan Toscano-Anderson
Juan Toscano-Anderson has an amazing story that led to him playing for his hometown Golden State Warriors. The Oakland native had a standout college career, but went undrafted in the NBA. Toscano-Anderson is a Mexican-American so he turned his attention to the professional league in Mexico. He spent parts of four seasons in the LNBP, becoming a two-time All-Star and the league's MVP in 2018. Toscano-Anderson was then able to catch on with the Warriors' G League affiliate, the Santa Cruz Warriors after a local tryout. He was called up by Golden State in 2020 and continued to make an impact. Toscano-Anderson was also celebrated off the court with the 2020 G League Community Assist Award.
