About Jozy Altidore
Jozy Altidore made his professional soccer debut at the age of 16 with the New York Red Bulls. He was picked up by the Red Bulls after playing two yeas at the prestigious IMG Soccer Academy. After two years in New York he signed a contract with Villarreal at the age of 18 and has since seen time with Xerez, Hull City, Bursaspor, AZ Sunderland and Toronto FC. Known for his speed, ball skills, aggressiveness and ability to put the ball in the net, he is considered to be one of the premier goal scorers in the world. In 2005 he joined the USA Under-17 team and saw time on the U-20 and U-23 before joining the National Team in 2007. Since that time he has made 76 international appearances and scored 25 goals for the stars and stripes. With Team USA he has appeared at the FIFA World Cup the CONCACAF Gold Cup and FIFA Federations Cup.
