About Jordan Staal
Jordan Staal has built an amazing legacy alongside his brothers in the NHL. He is one of four Staal brothers to make it to the league. Staal was originally selected second in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft three years after his brother, Eric, also went number two overall. He immediately made his debut with the Pittsburgh Penguins and became the youngest player in NHL history to register a hat trick. Staal was named to the NHL All-Rookie Team in 2007. The next two years he would make the Stanley Cup Final with the Penguins, winning a Cup in 2009. Staal joined the Carolina Hurricanes in 2012 and became a co-captain in 2017.
