Joe Staley

Joe Staley joined the San Francisco 49ers in 2007 as a first round selection out of Central Michigan University and never slowed down in his NFL career. Prior to heading to Central Michigan he was a top wide out and track star at Rockford High School in Rockford, Michigan and set three school records in the 200-meter dash, 4x100 meter relay and 4x200 meter relay. That speed would pay off at Central Michigan when he made the transition to tight end as a freshman and eventually became an offensive lineman as a sophomore. With speed, size and athleticism he quickly became a highly sought after asset by NFL teams. After being selected with the 28th overall pick by the San Francisco 49ers in the 2007 NFL Draft he quickly became a star on their offensive line. Staley made four straight Pro Bowls from 2011-15 and five overall in his career. He was also a second-team All-Pro from 2011-13. Staley was apart of 49ers teams that won the NFC in 2012 and, in his final season, 2019. Due to his tremendous career, he was named a member of the NFL's 2010 All-Decade Team.
