About Joe Mixon
Joe Mixon is a star running back for the Houston Texans. Mixon spent the first seven seasons of his career with the Cincinnati Bengals, where he was a four-time 1,000-yard back.
Mixon had his best year in 2021, rushing for 1,205 yards and 14 touchdowns on the way to making the Pro Bowl. That season, he also helped lead the Bengals to their first Super Bowl since 1988.
The Bengals originally selected Mixon in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft and he truly broke out during his second season in the league. That year, Mixon led the AFC with 1,168 rushing yards and he also added eight touchdowns.
Before being chosen by Cincinnati, he played college football at Oklahoma. As a redshirt freshman, Mixon ran for over 700 yards and helped the Sooners reach the College Football Playoff. The following season, he collected 1,274 yards and 10 touchdowns on the ground on the way to first-team All-Big 12 honors.
