Jhonattan Vegas Biography

Jhonattan Vegas is a Venezuelan golfer who competes on the PGA Tour.  Vegas has been victorious once on the PGA Tour at the 2011 Bob Hope Classic.  He won the tournament in a sudden-death playoff and became the first Venezuelan to ever win on Tour.  He originally gained entry to the PGA Tour by finishing seventh on the Nationwide Tour (now Web.com Tour) money list in 2010.  Vegas kept his card during the 2013-14 by satisfying the requirements of a medical exemption.  He made 16 cuts and had a season best finish of third at the John Deere Classic.  Vegas and his brother both played collegiately at the University of Texas.  He currently resides in Houston, Texas.
