About Alexandre Rocha
Alexandre Rocha is a Brazilian professional golfer, born in Sao Paulo. He won two national and two junior national championships in Brazil. He is on the Web.com Tour and has nine professional wins to his name. In 2010, Rocha graduated from Qualifying School and became the second Brazilian to make the PGA Tour. His best PGA finish was second at the Reno-Tahoe Open in 2012. He has played in one major, finishing tied for 68th at the 2011 US Open. He turned professional in 2000 after a banner collegiate career at Mississippi State. Rocha was an All-American for the Bulldogs and played with golf stars Luke Donald and Paul Casey during his time in Starkville. In addition to the two US tours, he has also competed on the Canadian, European, and Asian Tours. Rocha says golf being added to the 2016 Olympics in Brazil has prompted a career turnaround.
