About Belen Mozo
Belen Mozo was born in Cadiz, Spain played her college golf at the University of Southern California. Prior to heading to USC she won the 2005 Junior International Championship and became the first player since 1972 to win both the Women’s British Amateur Championship and British Girls Amateur Championship in 2006. She also competed in the 2006 World Amateur Team Championships and 2005 European Girls Team Championships on behalf of her native Spain. While playing at USC she earned four consecutive NCAA All-American selections prior to turning pro in 2010. Since that time she has been a top performer on the LPGA Tour, accumulating over $300,000 in earnings through 2013, finishing in the top-ten twice, and recording a career best tie for fourth finish at the Manulife Financial LPGA Classic. Thus far in her career she has competed in 27 events and made 18 cuts, making her one of the most consistent players on tour.
