Cheyenne Woods Biography

Cheyenne Woods shares more than just a name with her uncle Tiger; she also shares a passion for the game of golf. Learning from the same person as Tiger did, Earl Woods, Cheyenne was a successful golfer in her younger days, earning a scholarship to Wake Forest University to play for the Demon Deacon’s golf team. With Wake Forest, Woods compiled quite the resume of over 30 amateur tournament wins while also capturing the 2011 ACC Championship. In 2012, Woods turned professional and qualified for both the Women’s U.S. Open and LPGA Championship. As a professional, Woods has 2 victories to her name, including the 2014 Volvik RACV Ladies’ Masters. Later that same year, Woods finished 11th in the LPGA Qualifying Tournament giving her Category 12 membership to the LPGA for the 2015 season.
