About Jessica McDonald
Jessica McDonald is a member of the United States women's national soccer team. McDonald earned her first call-up to the senior team in 2016 and made the roster for the 2019 Women's World Cup. On the club side, she plays for the North Carolina Courage. In 2018, McDonald was named NWSL Championship Game MVP after scoring two goals. She had previously won an NWSL title in 2016 with the Western New York Flash, the same year she was named to the league's Best XI. McDonald began her professional career playing for several different teams. She split her college soccer career between Phoenix College and the University of North Carolina. McDonald won a national championship with the Tar Heels in 2008.
