About Jesse Minter
Jesse Minter is the head coach of the Baltimore Ravens. A graduate of Mount St. Joseph University, he began his coaching career in 2006 as a defensive intern at Notre Dame. He progressed through roles including graduate assistant at Cincinnati (2007–08), linebackers coach and defensive coordinator at Indiana State (2009–12), defensive coordinator at Georgia State (2013–16), and various defensive positions with the Baltimore Ravens (2017–20, including defensive backs coach in 2020). Minter then served as defensive coordinator and safeties coach at Vanderbilt (2021), defensive coordinator at Michigan (2022–23 where he won the 2023 CFP national championship, and defensive coordinator for the Los Angeles Chargers (2024–25), where his units ranked highly in points and yards allowed. On January 22, 2026, the Baltimore Ravens hired Minter as their head coach, marking his first head-coaching role.
