About Jerry Kramer
Jerry Kramer joined the Green Bay Packers as a fourth round selection out of the University of Idaho in 1958. He’d go on to play ten seasons in the National Football League with the Packers and earn three Pro-Bowl selections to go along with five First-Team All-Pro honors and Second Team All-Pro honors in 1968. To say that he had a successful NFL career would be an understatement. During his decade long career he helped lead the Packers to five NFL Championships in 1961, 1962, 1965, 1966 and 1967 and wins in both Super Bowl I and II. For his contributions to the league and to the Packers he was named to the NFL 1960’s All-Decade Team and NFL 50th Anniversary Team. He was also inducted into the Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame in 1993 and the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame. After his retirement he became a best-selling author, recounting his career, the career of his teammates, the career of his legendary coach, Vince Lombardi, and the Packers franchise in a series of amazing must read books.
