Jeremy Teela

Jeremy Teela is a soldier-athlete in the United States Army World Class Athlete Program. He entered the Utah Army National Guard in 1997 and is currently stationed at Heber City, Utah. Teela got his start in international biathlete competition when he finished 14th at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. He followed that up with a ninth place finish in the 4x7.5km relay event at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin. Four years later he returned to Olympic competition and finished ninth the 10 km sprint and 13th in the 4x7.5km relay event at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. He also added a 24th place finish in the 12.5 km pursuit. His best international performance to date took place at the 2009 World Cup, where he captured third in the individual distance race while representing the United States of American with honor.
