Jens Voigt is a former German professional road cyclist widely admired for his aggressive racing style, relentless breakaways, and charismatic personality. Born on September 17, 1971, in Grevesmühlen, East Germany, Voigt turned professional in 1997 and went on to compete at the highest level of the sport for nearly two decades.
