About Jan Ullrich
Jan Ullrich is one of the most decorated road bicycle racers of all-time. His numerous achievements include winning a Gold Medal at the 2000 Sydney Olympics in the road race competition and then capturing silver in Sydney at the Time Trial. On the international level he has earned three gold medals and one bronze at the World Championships from 1994 to 2001 and captured the 1997 Tour de France. His win in 1997 set off a bicycling boom in Germany and eventually led to him starting his own brand of bicycles called the Jan Ullrich Collection. In the world of bicycle road racing he is considered to be one of the revolutionaries when it comes to frame design and race strategy. His wins came from a combination of talent, skill, planning and training that culminated in his success over a long period of time.
