About Jayce Tingler
Jayce Tingler is the manager of the San Diego Padres. Prior to arriving in San Diego, Tingler had significant coaching experience at several levels. He began his career as a coach and then manager in the Texas Rangers organization for their Dominican Summer League team. Tingler also managed Rookie ball for the franchise and rose to Minor League Field Coordinator from 2012-2014. In 2015, he was named Major League Field Coordinator and then a year later, he became an assistant general manager for the Rangers. Tingler finished his tenure in Texas at the team's Major League Player Development Field Coordinator.
