Jasmine Moore

Jasmine Moore is an American track and field athlete who specializes in both the long jump and triple jump events. Born on May 1, 2001, in Grand Prairie, Texas, she developed her passion for jumping during middle school and quickly rose through the ranks of high school athletics. At Mansfield Lake Ridge High School, Moore set a national high school record in the triple jump with a mark of 44 feet 10 inches, earning her the 2019 Gatorade National Female Track & Field Athlete of the Year.

Moore began her collegiate career at the University of Georgia, where she became a two-time SEC champion in the triple jump. In 2021, she transferred to the University of Florida, where she continued to excel, setting collegiate records in both the indoor triple jump (15.12 meters) and long jump (7.03 meters). Her achievements earned her the 2023 Honda Sports Award for Track & Field, recognizing her as the nation's top collegiate female athlete in the sport.

Turning professional in 2023, Moore signed with Puma and has since represented the United States on the international stage. At the 2024 Paris Olympics, she made history by becoming the first American woman to qualify for both the long jump and triple jump events at the same Games. She went on to win bronze medals in both disciplines, marking a significant milestone in her career.

Off the track, Moore is known for her vibrant personality and diverse interests, including fishing, listening to music, jet skiing, and spending time with her family and friends. Her journey from a high school standout to an Olympic medalist reflects her dedication, resilience, and passion for the sport of track and field.
