About Jake Dickert
Jake Dickert is the head football coach at Wake Forest. Dickert was previously the head coach at Washington State, guiding the program to a 23-20 record in parts of four seasons.
Dickert auditioned for the Cougars job on an interim basis in 2021, going 3-2, including a blowout 40-13 win over Washington to end the season and become bowl-eligible. Dickert was originally hired on the WSU staff as defensive coordinator in 2020.
He previously had a long coaching history, beginning with a graduate assistant stint at his alma mater, Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 2007.
