Isaiah Kacyvenski

Isaiah Kacyvenski is a former professional linebacker for the Seattle Seahawks and St. Louis Rams of the NFL. Kacyvenski earned an academic scholarship from Harvard University and he played football there as well. Kacyvenski was a starter on Harvard’s football team all four years. As a freshman, Kacyvenski won the Ivy League Rookie of the Year award and won All-Ivy League First Team honors for three years. He was also the Harvard Male Athlete of the Year in 2000 and received the Nilis V. “Swede” Nelson Award. The Seattle Seahawks selected Kacyvenski in the 4th round as the 119th overall pick in the 2000 NFL Draft. Kacyvenski played with the Seahawks for a little over six seasons and he was the Special Trams Captain 3 years in a row. The Seahawks released Kacyvenski on September 30, 2006. The St. Louis Rams signed Kacyvenski on October 3, for a one-year contract. He also played for the Oakland Raiders for the offseason. Kacyvenski retired from football in September 2008.
