About Gerald McCoy
Gerald McCoy is a defensive tackle that was one of the league's best during a decade of dominance. McCoy originally spent nine years in the NFL with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after they selected him with the 3rd overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft. He was selected to six Pro Bowls in Tampa and was also a four-time All-Pro. McCoy had another banner year in 2019 with the Carolina Panthers before signing with the Cowboys. Prior to jumping to the pros, he was a college star at the University of Oklahoma. While playing for the Sooners he was a two-time All-American All-Big 12 selection in 2008 and 2009 and helped his team to a BCS National Championship game appearance in 2008. But he is not just a star on the field. McCoy is also a star in the community, receiving the Pop Warner Little Scholars ‘Inspiration to Youth’ Award at the annual Pop Warner All-American Scholastic Banquet in 2012. He is also a staple at many youth camps around the country, offering up his knowledge and expertise to help mold the next generation of young athletes.
