About George Kirby
George Kirby is an All-Star pitcher for the Seattle Mariners. Kirby was the 2019 CAA Pitcher of the Year at Elon after going 8-2 with a 2.75 ERA and was subsequently taken by the Mariners in the first round. He first made his Seattle major league debut in 2022 and flashed his potential by throwing a league-record 24 straight strikes to start a game in August. The following year, Kirby was among the leaders in strikeout-to-walk ratio and was named to his first All-Star team.
