Gable Dan Steveson has left an amazing legacy in the sport of wrestling. Steveson won the Olympic gold medal in the 125 kg division by defeating the reigning three-time world champion in the final and the defending Olympic champion earlier in the tournament. He also impressed by winning gold in the division at the 2021 Pan American Championships. At the University of Minnesota, Steveson was a three-time All-American, three-time Big Ten champion and two-time NCAA champion. He finished his college career with an overall record of 67-2. Following his run as a freestyle wrestler, Steveson fulfilled a dream by being signed by the WWE. He is just the second former Olympic gold medalist after Kurt Angle to be signed by the organization.
