Fran Quinn

Fran Quinn is a professional golfer who has played on the PGA Tour and the Nationwide Tour. In 1986, Quinn won the Massachusetts Amateur. Quinn became a professional golfer in 1988 and played his first full season on the Nationwide Tour and then the Ben Hogan Tour. Later that year, he finished T8 at Q-School, which allowed him to obtain his PGA Tour card for 1992. In 1993, he lost his Tour card. From 1993-1997, Quinn played off and on of the PGA and Nationwide Tour, until he finally made his decision to focus mostly on the Nationwide Tour. Quinn picked up his first win in 1999 on a major tour at the Nike Dakota Dunes Open in a playoff. During 2010, Quinn had stress fractures that limited him to seven PGA events where he made two cuts. In the 2014 U.S. Open, he had to go through local and sectional cuts to make the field.
