About Ben Martin
Ben Martin grew up in Greenwood, South Carolina and played his college golf at Clemson University. While playing for the Tigers he helped them to multiple team championships and won several individual titles in route to earning All-ACC honors. Prior to turning pro he played in three major championships and finished as the runner-up at the 2009 United States Amateur Championship. The following year he turned pro and won his first professional tournament at the 2010 Forest Oaks Classic on the EGolf Professional Tour. Later that year he finished as the runner-up in qualifying school to join the PGA Tour. He has since won three more professional tournaments, capturing the United Leasing Championship and Mylan Classic on the 2013 Web.com Tour and the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in 2014 on the PGA Tour. His first PGA Tour win came after a brilliant 20 under par performance, and established himself as a top performer on golf’s most elite level.
