Framber Valdez Biography

Framber Valdez is a star pitcher for the Houston Astros who made his major league debut at the end of the 2018 season. Valdez was originally signed by the Astros in 2015. He became a mainstay in the Houston rotation during the shortened 2020 season, going 5-3 with a 3.57 ERA and 76 strikeouts in 70 innings. Valdez won 11 games the following year and then became Houston's Opening Day starter in 2022.
