About Fahran Zaidi
Fahran Zaidi is the president of baseball operations for the San Francisco Giants. Zaidi took the role with the Giants in 2018 and won Sporting News Executive of the Year in 2021. He had previously made history as the first Muslim and Pakastani-American general manager with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2015. Zaidi's work with the Dodgers helped lead to World Series appearances in 2017 and 2018. He originally came up under Billy Beane in the Oakland Athletics organization, eventually becoming their Director of Baseball Operations and Assistant General Manager.
