About Reid Ryan
Reid Ryan grew up in the Houston area of Texas. With a famous father there was no doubt that Reid would want to follow in his footsteps, and at one point was a player for the minor league affiliate of the Texas Rangers. While his playing career was short, he has become best known for his work as an executive in the league. His passion for the game is evident in him being the CEO of Ryan-Sanders Baseball Inc. which owns the Round Rock Express and Corpus Christi Hooks minor league teams, a venture in which he has partnered with his father Nolan Ryan, his brother Reese, and former part owner of the Houston Astros, Don Sanders. Reid has stayed busy by also participating on the board of trustees for Major League Baseball and since May of 2013 he has been the president of the MLB team the Houston Astros.
