About Drew Gooden
Drew Gooden is a retired NBA power forward who spent 14 years in the league. Prior to his time in the NBA, Gooden played collegiately at Kansas University for four seasons, earning All American honors and the NABC Player of the Year award during his senior season in 2002. Following his graduation, Gooden was drafted 4th overall in the 2002 NBA Draft by the Memphis Grizzlies, earning All-Rookie honors in 2003 and eventually being traded to the Orlando Magic prior to the start of the 2003- 2004 season. Gooden would then become an NBA journeyman, playing for ten different teams over his career. He is currently a broadcaster for the last team he suited up for, the Washington Wizards.
