About DeVonta Smith
DeVonta Smith is a wide receiver for the Philadelphia Eagles after being the tenth overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. Smith compiled a career at Alabama that makes him one of the best wide receivers in college football history. He helped the Crimson Tide win Nick Saban's seventh national championship in 2021 on the heels of being the first true wide receiver to win the Heisman Trophy since 1991. In the title game, Smith 12 catches for 215 yards and three scores on the way to winning Offensive MVP honors. He totaled 1,800 receiving yards and 23 touchdowns in his final season. He also set the SEC career record for receiving touchdowns. Smith had a memorable moment as a true freshman, catching the game-winning touchdown in overtime of the 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship.
