About Devereaux Peters
Devereaux Peters made a name for herself during her days at the University of Notre Dame. Not only did she lead the Irish to the 2012 NCAA National Championship game, she also earned Big East Conference Defensive Player of the Year honors that season and was a dominant power forward. After that season the Minnesota Lynx selected her with the 3rd overall pick in the first round of the 2012 NBA Draft. She was also selected by the WBC Dynamo Novosibirsk to play in the Russian women’s league. She spent her first three seasons with the Lynx, serving as a valuable asset to the team on defense and a catalyst on offense. While in Minnesota, Peters won two WNBA championships. She went on to play for the Indiana Fever and Washington Mystics before suiting up for the Phoenix Mercury. In addition to her collegiate and pro experience she also has extensive international experience as a member of Team USA. In 2011 she helped the stars and stripes to a gold medal in the World University Games held in Shenzhen, China.
