About Derrick Henry
Derrick Henry is one of the most dominating running backs of his era. Henry signed with the Baltimore Ravens in 2024 after an eight-year run with the Tennessee Titans. While with the Titans, he became a four-time Pro Bowler and two-time All-Pro.
Henry led the NFL in rushing yards and rushing touchdowns in back-to-back years from 2019-2020. He was the NFL Offensive Player of the Year in 2020 after topping 2,000 yards rushing.
Before his banner NFL career, Henry became one of the all-time greats in Alabama history. He became the Crimson Tide's starting running back as a junior in 2015 and rushed for an SEC record 2,219 yards and 28 touchdowns on 395 carries. That led to a slew of awards, including the Heisman Trophy, Doak Walker Award, Walter Camp Award, and Maxwell Award.
During Alabama's victory over Clemson in the 2016 College Football Playoff National Championship, Henry rushed for 158 yards on 36 carries with three touchdowns. In that contest, he passed Shaun Alexander as the career rushing leader in Alabama history.
Anyone who saw Henry in high school knew he was destined for big things. He set the national high school football record for career rushing yards with 12,124 yards and scored 153 touchdowns while at Yulee High School.
