Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan is a professional wrestler who currently competes for the WWE promotion. Considered by many to be one of the top technical wrestlers in the world, Bryan initially started wrestling under his real name, Bryan Danielson, in 1999 with various companies around the world, including IWGP and the WWF. With the WWF, Bryan was used as an enhancement talent, only lasting about a year with the company. In 2002, Bryan joined Ring of Honor wrestling during its startup, and is considered one of the founding fathers of the company. His matches are still replayed to this day, and it was there where he really rose to national stardom, winning a World Championship and the ROH Pure Championship. In the summer of 2009, Bryan was signed by the WWE and placed on their first season of WWE NXT. After the show ended, Bryan debuted on the RAW brand as part of the NEXUS angle, but was subsequently fired after strangling a ring worker with his tie during a kayfabe invasion angle. Bryan returned to the WWE in late 2010, and has been there ever since, becoming one of the company’s top stars and holding both the WWE Championship and the World Heavyweight Championship.
