Bret Hart

Bret Hart is a former professional wrestler who is famous for his time within the WWF and WCW promotions. Hart got his start as a wrestler through his father, Stu Hart’s, wrestling promotion in 1978. In 1984, Hart debuted in the WWF as a member of the Hart Foundation, a heel stable that consisted of Jimmy Hart and Jim Neidhart. Two years later, Hart would make a name for himself as a singles wrestler, making a face turn in 1988 to become a longtime fan favorite. As a singles wrestler in the WWF, Hart would win multiple championships, including the WWF championship, the Intercontinental championship, and many more. In 1997, Hart became a part of one of the most talked about moments in wrestling history when he was the main component in the Montreal Screwjob. This act would go down in history, and was a main reason behind Hart jumping ship to rival promotion WCW. At WCW, Hart would continue to win more championships, and eventually competed on the independent circuit until his semi-retirement in 2000. Although he swore to never return to the WWE again, Hart returned under a legends contract in 2010, and has remained with the company in various non-wrestling roles since.
