About Dana Jacobson
Dana Jacobson is a sports anchorwoman and broadcaster who currently works for CBS Sports. Jacobson is originally from Michigan, and she graduated from the University of Michigan in 1993 with a bachelor of arts in English and communications. Her first job on television was a weekend sports anchor role in Transverse City, Michigan at a local television station. For numerous years Jacobson bounced around serving various roles and positions around the country, including radio shows and television spots, but her big break came in 2002 as an anchor on ESPNEWS. With ESPN, Jacobson became the host of the TV show Cold Pizza, staying with the show as it transitioned in to what is now ESPN First Take. Jacobson also worked NBA games as a sideline reporter, and bounced back and forth between that role and her work as an anchor on SportsCenter. After her ESPN contract expired in 2012, Jacobson left the company to join CBS Sports, where she joined the cast of The Morning Show.
