About Dan Hicks
Dan Hicks is one of the names most synonymous with NBC Sports. He originally joined the network in 1992. Hicks has long been a part of NBC's golf and Olympics coverage. He has worked ten Olympics dating back to the 1996 Games in Atlanta. Hicks has been the lead play-by-play broadcaster for Olympic swimming coverage. He is also the main anchor of the network's PGA Tour telecasts. Hicks has worked events like The Players, FedEx Cup, U.S. Open and Ryder Cup. In 2014, he also added play-by-play duties for NBC's Notre Dame football broadcasts. Prior to arriving at NBC, Hicks was a sports anchor for CNN. He started his career working in radio and television in his hometown of Tuscon, Arizona. He graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in broadcast journalism. Hicks is married to another prominent sports broadcaster, Hannah Storm.
