D. J. Durkin is the current defensive coordinator Auburn and the former Head Coach for the University of Maryland. Before Maryland, Durkin was the Defensive Coordinator for the University of Michigan. Durkin also served as the interim head football coach and defensive coordinator of the Florida Gators football team for the team's 2014 bowl game.
