About D. A. Points
D.A. Points is currently an official golfer of the PGA Tour. Having turned professional in 1999, he joined his first major tour in 2001, which was then known as the Buy.com Tour but currently known as the Nationwide Tour. Prior to his life as a professional athlete, Points grew up in the state of Illinois throughout the late 1970’s into the 1980’s. He excelled in golf in high school and became a third team All-American while golfing for the University of Illinois. Points also won three Illinois State Amateur Championships prior to turning professional and lost to Tiger Woods in one of them. Since his debut, Points has clinched six professional wins, four on the Web.com Tour and two on the PGA Tour. He is currently on the list of golfers with most Web.com Tour wins and continues to compete while residing in Windermere, Florida.
