Cub Swanson Biography

Cub Swanson, originally named Kevin Luke Swanson, is a California native that currently competes in the UFC as a mixed martial artist. Swanson had a troubled childhood, having been adopted by a distant relative after the sudden death of his father until his mother healed. He got in many fights throughout grade school and did not choose to take all of this aggressive energy out in a positive way until he learned the discipline of mixed martial arts later on in life. Swanson made his World Extreme Cagefighting debut in 2007, which merged with the Ultimate Fighting Championship in 2010. He has since earned two black belts and has twenty-seven professional wins. Swanson currently competes for Jackson’s Submission Fighting and continues to be thankful for the way he chose to turn around his life and take out his energy in positive ways each and every day.
