Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo is by far one of the most famous professional men’s soccer players of his time. He is widely considered to be one of the greatest players not only of his time, but of all time. A native of Portugal, he was born in 1985 and was destined for greatness, playing for three prestigious club teams throughout his youth career. Believe it or not, Ronaldo was expelled from grade school after throwing a chair at his teacher who he claimed “disrespected him” and chose to redirect his life and focus entirely on the sport of his dreams. By the age of 18, Ronaldo was debuting internationally for Portugal and by the age of 22, he had already received two Player of the Year nominations. Ronaldo has most recently played for Manchester United and currently has been playing for Real Madrid since 2009, the trade revealing Ronaldo to be the world’s most expensive player through a transfer that was worth $80 million. Ronaldo holds an exuberant amount of titles, including the first player to score against every single team in a single season in La Liga, the fastest player to soccer 200 goals in same, the record for the most goals scored in a single UEFA Champions League Season and the first player in England to win all four main PFA and FWA awards. Most recently, Ronaldo has become the all-time top scorer in the UEFA European Championship and continues to reach new heights that both fans and players cannot even fathom.
