About Craig Kimbrel
Craig Kimbrel has been one of the best closers in baseball over his distinguished career.Kimbrel led the National League in saves for four consecutive seasons and made the All-Star team each season for the Atlanta Braves.Kimbrel made three more All-Star teams with the Boston Red Sox and also helped them win the World Series in 2018. While in Boston, he became the youngest player in baseball history to record 300 saves. His 46 saves in 2011 was a major league record for a rookie.Kimbrel left the Braves as their all-time saves leader.He was the Rolaids Relief Man Award in 2012, the MLB Delivery Man of the Year in 2013, and the Trevor Hoffman Award winner in 2014. Kimbrel was the closer for Team USA in the 2013 World Baseball Classic. Atlanta originally selected him in the third round of the 2008 MLB Draft out of Wallace State Community College.
