Craig Alexander

Craig Alexander is a triathlete who can impressively call himself a three-time Ironman Triathlon World Champion. Obtaining these titles in 2008, 2009, and 2011, he is the course record holder for the Ironman World Championship. Alexander was born in Australia in 1973 and competed in his first triathlon in southern Sydney. Throughout his first four years as a professional triathlete, he won a total of 20 races. Splitting his time between Olympic Distance racing and Half Iron distance racing, Alexander proved to be extremely talented. As a competitor for Australia, he obtained five gold medals, three silver medals, and one bronze throughout his racing career. One of Alexander’s most notable accomplishments to date is his first major win at the Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Clearwater, Florida in 2006. He was a recipient of this same title again in 2011. After officially announcing his retirement from Ironman distance racing in March of 2014, Alexander commenced a new chapter of his life by establishing a coaching business. He currently works side by side with three other triathlon coaches to share his knowledge, wisdom and experience with other and help them reach their full potential, just as Alexander did throughout his racing career.
