About Corbin Burnes
Corbin Burnes is an All-Star pitcher for the Arizona Diamondbacks. Burnes became a first-time All-Star with the Milwaukee Brewers in 2021 after setting a major league record with 58 strikeouts to begin a season without issuing a walk.
Burnes had flashed his immense ability prior to that breakout campaign. He was originally called up in 2018 and was a key part of Milwaukee's postseason-bound squad. In 2020, Burnes was also great during the shortened season, posting a 4-1 record with a 2.11 ERA and 88 strikeouts.
The Brewers originally selected him out of high school in the fourth round of 2016 MLB Draft and he worked his way to being named the organization's second-best prospect by MLB.com by 2018.
