About Coby White
Coby White is an American professional basketball player for the Charlotte Hornets. He was a top high school player in North Carolina and finished his high school career as the top prep scorer in state history. He played college basketball for the North Carolina Tar Heels. White passed Michael Jordan on the Tar Heels freshman scoring list and broke a North Carolina basketball freshman record for three-point shooting, hitting 82 during his college season. After one season with the Tar Heels he declared for the 2019 NBA draft and was selected seventh overall by the Chicago Bulls. On November 12, 2019, White hit seven 3-pointers in the fourth quarter against the New York Knicks, setting a Bulls franchise record for most 3-pointers made in a single quarter. White is also the first rookie in NBA history to score 30-plus points in three consecutive games while coming off the bench.
