About Darin Owens
Coach Darin Owens continues to do the impossible, transforming high school football teams from losing records to state championships. Coach Owens gets calls from teams who go winless on a season and is asked to turn those programs around. Owens coached a Hillcrest High team in Idaho Falls, Iowa that was on a 24-game losing streak and in his first season as the coach won a state championship. Owens did the same thing to two other high schools in California and is trying to work his magic again at Cerritos High School for a team that went 10-60 from 2005 to 2012. Coach Owens builds his teams on the philosophy of Expect to Win, Prepare to Win, Believe. Coach travels the country to speak with sports teams and businesses alike, trying to motivate players and employees to create a winning attitude in anything they do.
