About Charlie White
Charlie White is one of the most decorated American ice dancers in history of the sport. Beginning skating at the age of 5, Whites coach transitioned him to ice dancing by 7 and in 1997 he was paired with Meryl Davis who remains his partner to this day, making them the longest-lasting team in U.S. skating history. After finding quick success in their junior career from 2003-2006, White and Davis moved up to a senior and international career where they again found success. They are the most successful ice dancers in U.S. history and are currently the #1 team in the World Rankings. They won their first gold medal at World Championships in 2010, becoming the first Americans to do so. They have since won a 2nd World Championship and in 2014 won their first Olympic gold medal. The duo has also won 5 consecutive Grand Prix Finals, 6 straight U.S. National Championships, as well as 3 Four Continents Championships.
