About Charles Huff
Charles Huff has embraced the proud history of Memphis football as head coach. Huff previously had stints as a head coach at Southern Miss and Marshall.
Huff gained great notoriety before heading up the Thundering Herd program as a great recruiter at Alabama. Huff was the assistant head coach and running backs coach under Nick Saban for two seasons, coaching Najee Harris and winning a national championship in his final campaign. He also spent time at major programs like Penn State and Mississippi State.
Huff began his career at Tennessee State coaching the offensive line in 2006. He also spent time in college football at Hampton, Maryland and Western Michigan. Huff has one year of pro coaching experience, a 2012 stint as assistant running backs coach with the Buffalo Bills.
