About Chad Hennings
Chad Hennings is a former defensive tackle for the Dallas Cowboys of the NFL. Hennings attended the United States Air Force Academy where he started his collegiate football career as a tight end. In his sophomore season, Hennings was switched to the defensive line and then to defensive tackle. Hennings was named a starter as a sophomore and he made the All-WAC second team. 1985 was a great year for Hennings and the Falcons as they went 12-1, were conference cochampions, winners of the Bluebonnet Bowl and ranked 5th in the final coaches poll. After graduating from the Air Force Academy, Hennings entered the undergraduate pilot training program. Due to his military commitment, Hennings dropped in the Draft rankings. The Dallas Cowboys selected Hennings in the 11th round of the 1988 NFL Draft. Hennings spent his entire professional career with the Dallas Cowboys. Hennings and the Cowboys won three Super Bowls together.
