About Carson Pickett
Carson Pickett is a defender for Denver Summit FC who has defied the odds to reach the highest level of women's professional soccer. Pickett has pushed through to have an elite athletic career despite being born without a left forearm and hand. She made history in 2022 as the first player with a limb difference to play for the U.S. women's national team. Pickett began her professional career with the Seattle Reign and has since played for the Orlando Pride and the North Carolina Courage. The Reign originally chose her with the fourth overall pick in the 2016 NWSL College Draft. Pickett previously spent four years playing college soccer at Florida State. She helped the Seminoles win their first national championship in 2014.
