Carlos Estevez Biography

Carlos Estevez is a lockdown closer for the Los Angeles Angels. During the first half of 2023, Estevez converted all 21 save opportunities with a 1.80 ERA on the way to his first All-Star selection. Prior to the year, all of Estevez's experience came in the Colorado Rockies organization. He was originally signed as an international free agent by the franchise in 2011. Estevez made his big league debut in 2016 and later that season became the Rockies closer.
